Tasting JUL20: Great mixture of generous wineiness and spicy-nutty-complex complexity thanks to the reserve wines. The latter reverberate for a few minutes and give the feeling of having something of very high quality in the glass (that's the way it is, but you almost have to say it because the price is so extremely cheap). Very harmonious, but also something strong-gripping mixes with it, i.e. has character. Slightly bitter but very pleasant.
Tasting JUL21: Generous, full-bodied aromatics, ultra juicy, beguiling fruit, wonderful drinking companion

Five years of bottle agingNicola OCT24: Super nice nuttiness, very complex vinosity, insanely strong, complex, profound cuvée, although only the beginning! Fresh & crisp.Tilman OCT24: Tension between yeast and freshness, rather on the sparser side, melting at the back, hints of red fruit, elegant, red fruit lingers, great length!Fabio OCT24: Brioche, yeastiness in the nose, little fruit, super fresh on the palate, crisp acidity, super dry, but super balance, nice length.
Nicola JUN22: Nicely spicy, complex aromas of dried fruit, toasted aromas, coherent character, very harmonious and elegant, Long lasting nutty finish.
Winery: The powerful structure of Pinot Noir is enlivened by the tension of Chardonnay.
Moritz OCT22: The Cuvée Prologue is the entry point of the Domaine Labruyere. Getting started is an absolute understatement. As soon as you smell it for the first time, your eyebrows will be raised. Such complexity is not expected from the "base" cuvée of a domaine. It is immediately clear that the champagne Prologue is incredibly fresh and playful. Some cooked rhubarb and red apple are balanced beautifully with a slight herbaceous note. The first sip surprises as the wine is incredibly precise yet super juicy. The nose is reflected magnificently on the palate. The Prologue is deep, superbly balanced, and despite its complexity, accessible and charming. Aperitif character at a high level.

Vinification: 100% oak
Without malolactic fermentation
Moritz OCT22: Single vineyard and Blanc de Blanc, two terms that inspire (me)! Typical of Godmé wines, we also have a nice, spicy nose that is anything but well-behaved. Nuttiness and aromas of freshly baked bread are in the foreground. However, these are carried by a beautiful ethereal freshness, which makes the nose extremely complex. The citrus fruit, carried by a super fine and firm acidity, creates excitement and fun.

Nicola MAI22: I like extremely well, despite the zero dosage not meager, very much body, spice, very long and polished from front to back, great aromatics and structure.

From the villages: Les Rochelles, Les Potences, Les Longues Raies, Les Champs Romés (Verzy), La Chenille, Blancs-FossésNicola OKT24: Incredibly strong, complex, profound rosé. Elegant, exquisite fruit, freshness, super delicate, extremely balanced.Tilman OKT24: Structured, light, elegant bitterness, really great restrained fruit, very fine tannin, very balanced. Goes perfectly with Comté!Fabio OKT24: Very serious, not much fruit for a rose, very straight, fine perlage, super fresh, pure aperitif champagne.
Nicola MAI22: Very well done, great signature, seems skillful, aromatic, polished, complex.

Vinified in oak
Single-vineyard champagne from the "Les Champs" vineyard with chalky terroir near Verzenay.
Peter Liem: Les Champs St-Martin is a pure Pinot Noir from vines almost 30 years old in a chalky plot at the foot of the slope in Verzenay. It is vinified entirely in barrel and previous releases have been exceptionally impressive.

Dosage: 5g/lTilman OCT24: Like the racing bike depicted on the label, this cuvée is grippy, slender, elegant and racy. Yet red fruity and with a fine yeast flavour, wonderfully balanced.Fabio OCT24: Ripe citrus, black bread rind, delicate fine oxidation, very elegant & complex, fine perlage on the palate, ripe red fruit, beautiful saltiness, a pleasure to drink with a lot of sophistication.
Nicolas: "Arsène is the first name of the son of Jérôme, our friend who has worked with us for many years now.Baptizing a cuvée Arsène means integrating Jérôme a little more into the history of our house. On the label, Arsène is very elegant, like the vintage it characterizes. He is tall and his posture oscillates between rigor and relaxation, attesting that this wine, despite its Grand Cru origins and its vintage, remains accessible and supple. The cane is an instrument aimed at enhancing the elegance but also the balance of the cuvée.As for the bike, connoisseurs will notice that it is an old racing bike, (equipped with its cans of course) affirming the racy side of this great vintage."

5 years of bottle agingNicola OCT24: Straightforward, berry fruit, dark fruit. Elegant, puristic, but profound aromas, very fine spiciness from the wood ageing, long nutty finish.Tilman OCT24: Initially somewhat reductive and closed, but then opens up quickly. Slightly bitter, even more profound than Anthologie, structured, fresh, clear and mineral!Fabio OCT24: Somewhat closed, with more air comes fine red fruitiness, citrus peel, chalky, straightness runs through, very complex, strong finish.
Giuseppe Lauria Chedredaktion Editor-in-Chief APR23: Beautiful, radiant rose gold. Characterful appearance with a wide-ranging bouquet with raspberries, red fruits tossed in butter, the finest butter pastries, all accompanied by saline undertones, a touch of Williams pear resonates. Powerful, masculine but with a lot of enamel. The mousseux is very juicy and gives the champagne an invigorating freshness and subtle tension right through to the long, tart, fresh finale. 18/20 –2030
Nicola MAI22: Strongly vibrant, long, nice wood influence, complex!
Paula Bosch SEP22: This single-varietal Pinot Noir was pressed white, given 5 years to mature in the bottle and bottled without dosage. The result is a very spicy, uncompromising, bone-dry Champagne with a salty note, a powerhouse with great character. If you are looking for a link to Burgundy in Champagne J.M. Labruyere, you have the best example with Paradoxe. Despite the tremendous richness in the mouth - a whole cello concerto takes place here - each sip remains in harmony and balance, without corners and edges, the fine, compact mousse caresses the palate. The animating acidity makes the Paradoxe an ideal food companion from caviar to langoustine, Breton turbot in Beurre Blanc with morels to a zabaglione with crepes and caramel ice cream. What distinguishes this champagne is its seasoning full of character.
Moritz OCT22: The beautiful rose gold is radiant in the glass. The paradox is characterized by an angular dark berry fruit. The mousseux is very juicy and gives the champagne a pleasant freshness. The finish is long and slightly tart, which gives the wine even more excitement.
