Doyard Cuvée Vendémiaire
100% Chardonnay Dosage: 4g/l 4 years aging on the lees Terroir: Vertus, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant 40% vinified in oak barrel 20% malolactic fermentation Assemblage: 50% from three vintages + 50% reserve wines Guillaume Doyard attaches great importance to his base cuvée because, as he points out, it is the most difficult to make. In fact, Vendémiaire offers exceptional quality and sets the bar high in this segment. Most of the grapes come from Vertus, but the Grand Cru communities of Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant are also involved.40 percent of the wines are aged in small wood and about 20 percent undergo malolactic fermentation. The assemblage consists of the last three vintages, 50 percent are reserve wines. Bottle aging lasts four years – that's the minimum at Doyard. Vendémiaire has style, convinces with a wonderful balance, great noblesse and delicacy. Gorgeous drinking flow. Lukas NOV22: In the nose yeasty-brioche notes, which are backed with a fine spiciness, hints of citrus and some apple notes, in the mouth the citrus notes dominate combined with a refreshing, crispy acidity, the yeasty notes and woody spiciness are rather in the background, very nice drinking flow. Tasting FEB20: Extremely nice drinking flow, with lively but perfectly integrated acidity, a lot of traction, ingenious as a meal companion, chalky, yellow young fruits, nice flavor, great body

Doyard Révolution
100% Chardonnay Grand Cru, primarily from Avize (70%), also from small parcels in Le Mesnil, Cramant and Oger Dosage: 0g/l 6 years of bottle maturity From three different vintages 50% vinified in oak  40 year old vines on average 20% malolactic fermentation Révolution spends a lot of time, namely six years, on the yeast in the bottle and gets by without any dosage. The wines are made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from Grand Cru communities, about 70 percent come from Avize. Half of the wine is aged in small wooden barrels and the assemblage consists of three vintages. Giuseppe Lauria Editor-in-Chief WEINWISSER APR23: Despite the rather rich straw yellow, the racy freshness and iodine feel catapulted you straight to the sea. Crass mineral-cool bouquet with citrus foam and reminiscent of a roaring sea breeze whipping against the surf in the wintry Atlantic. Mature nuances, reminiscent of notes of orange zest and pastries, only appear with aeration. Delicate in the mouth, extremely demanding and dry as a bone, with racy tension, lots of citrus notes and citrus abrasion, plus a feeling of stone flour; powerful, stony finale with textually firm but fine perlage. Definitely needs air and some bottle aging. 18/20-2029 Tasting FEB22: Révolution is delicate and intense at the same time, notes of biscuit and orange zest, fine spice and white nougat ensure great taste cinema. The finest pearls, lots of excitement and presence on the palate lead to an extremely long finish. Tasting FEB20: Incredibly delicate and yet generous aromas, spiciness, presence, density, extremely long, not too sparse, honey, chocolate, very fine perlage, creaminess

Larmandier-Bernier Terre de Vertus 2017 - Bio
100% Chardonnay Dosage: 0g/l  No blending for this single-cru Champagne: Chardonnays only, coming from the vineyard plots of Les Barillers and Les Faucherets situated mid-slope in Vertus, facing south-east. One terroir only and one vintage only. Vinification and maturation: The natural alcoholic fermentation (natural yeast) and the malolactic fermentation begin spontaneously in our casks, our wooden vats and our stainless-steel tanks. The wines are left on their natural lees for nearly a year and undergo gentle bâtonnages, but no filtering or fining. If the year merits it, this cuvée will be bottled in July without any blend with other years - it is a vintage - or other terroirs - it is a single vineyard. Then the bottles are then taken down into the coolness of our cellars, where the second fermentation and the maturation 'on laths' quietly take place over a period of at least 5 years. Each bottle is disgorged manually 6 months before being marketed. This wine is non dosé (no sugar added), in order to respect its purity from beginning to end. Tasting notes - WineSpectator.com, December 7, 2017 - 91 points: Fresh and floral, this is well-cut and minerally, with finely meshed flavors of apple tarte Tatin, grated ginger, honeycomb and slivered almond. Rich, yet vibrant throughout. - Alison Napjus

Doyard Clos De L'Abbaye 2018
100% Chardonnay 100% vinified in barrique Dosage: 2g/l From 0,5 ha parcelle in Vertus, vineyard from 1956. Link to single Vineyard at Weinlagen-info. The Clos de l’Abbaye is a single vineyard of an half-hectare against the Estate, planted in 1956 in Chardonnay. His location and his chalky soil give to the grape an atypical taste. We use an environment-friendly method and have a low yield per year (35 à 40 Hl/hectare). Tasting FEB20 - VT 2014: Incredibly complexy, subtle but pervasive, super-elegant, the premium wines from Doyard are all small pieces of art.

Nicola MAI24: I was very skeptical because I love the aging in wood, especially with Doyard. But this cuvée is just amazing. It sweeps you away, this laser-sharp polish, but still with such a wide range of aromas that it is not sparse. Then a finish that lasts for minutes. Unique! It is still a bit young at the moment, will continue to benefit, but as I said, it is already absolutely impressive.
