100% Pinot Noir
Dosage: Extra Brut
Vinified in enameled steel.Vinous Champagne with a marked sense of place and quiet, distinctive character from Dominique Moreau.
Tasting FEB20: More vinous as Tallants from Piollot, more complexity, more dense, very long in the aftertaste, vibrant, many different aromas.
Antonio Galloni Vintage 2018 – 92P: The Extra Brut is bright, articulate and focused. This is an especially nervy expression of Pinot Noir. Bright acids and veins of salinity lend energy to this sculpted, taut Pinot Noir. Citrus peel, crushed rocks, mint jasmine and white pepper lend energy.

Val Colas Robin vineyard was planted with Pinot Blanc in 1955. It is one of the best from Piollot, with great exposure and the soil is based on limestone and red clay.Médaille d’Argent aux Vinalies Internationales 2015Tasting: FEB20: Base 14, tastes chalky, vivid accidity, fresh, straight, dynamic, pleasantly bitterish, earthy in the aftertaste
Tasting a matured bottle - JAN21: Pulled out of the wine cabinet after 3 years: Colas Robin Basis 2013 (one of our favorite vintages, although received little attention so far). Wonderfully developed, delicious! Extremely harmonious, straight to the point - has retained the delicacy of the Pinot Blanc, still straightforward, elegant, cool, since no sugar, then a wonderful generous mixture of honey, nuts, brioche, cream, chocolate unfolds towards the back , Coffee that blends very gently and inconspicuously into the overall picture. Great development!
Rating from Customer: More yellow fruited than I would expect, fresh, linear and inviting to another sip. More interesting than 98% of what I have tasted from this grape. The bottles was empty halfway through our dinner (I would have liked to see it develop over many hours, and luckily I have another) - (93+p)

Customer Rating:
Opened yesterday to acompany some great sushi. Just a lush and luxury-like feeling, drinking this wine. If this producer was more well known, it could easily fetch 80 Euro/bottle. I have som for tonight also, and I am looking forward to it. (92p)

Barrel fermentation, followed by maturation in barrique for 9-10 months. Bottled in spring.
The fruit comes from the same site as Resonance and thus shows the same distinctive terroir and minerality. The difference between the two Champagnes thus lies primarily in the barrel influence. When all runs well, oak provides well-made Champagne with a more complex and nuanced character. Rather than standing in the spotlight, the barrel here supports from the wings. It stabilizes and smooths the individual components into a stunning and balanced whole.
Antonio Galloni Vintage 2015 – 94P: Plum, cherry, spice and ginger meld into a deep core of Pinot fruit that continues to flesh out with a bit of time and aeration. There's terrific depth, density and creaminess here, not to mention tons of sheer personality.
100% Pinot Noir
Dosage: Extra Brut
old vines (1968)
Vinified in enameled steel
No sulfites added
Without sulfites, the Champagne naturally matures at a rate slightly faster than average, translating into a distinctive, powerful character with slightly mature flavors. Brioche notes, for example, unseen in the other Champagnes from Marie Corutin. The no-sulfite champagnes are new to the program, giving producer and consumer alike a fascinating chance to explore just how the champagnes will age during cellaring.

Antonio Galloni Vintage 2016 – 93P: The Eloquence is a powerful, deep wine. A richer side of Chardonnay is very much in evidence here. Orange peel, apricot, spice and honeyed overtones build in a sumptuous, vinous Champagne built on texture and breadth.
Peter Liem: While the Aube is thought of as producing rounder, fruitier wines than those of the Marne, the Éloquence is marked by a certain austerity, driven not only by the acidity of chardonnay but by a complex and distinctive soil signature. It's an intensely terroir-driven champagne, and at its best, it's one of the most exciting champagnes currently being made in the Aube.
70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Blanc
Dosage: 0g/lTilman AUG24: The nose is stony, citric, has something pleasantly tart, light yellow fruit and a little exotic fruit. Dark, slightly smoky on the palate, the fruit is rather restrained, but the structure is amazing. It is grippy, constantly developing in the glass, taking up the whole mouth, but always remaining fresh, mineral and salty. Fascinating length, something to ponder and savour!
Tasting SEP21: Soft, charming, discreet oak, harmonious, soft, very well integrated acidity. Pear, white flowers, floral (all typical of Pinot Blanc) - bottle is amazingly fast empty! :)
Galloni NOV21 about Millésime 2016 - 95P: Bright, precise and nuanced with tremendous energy and tons of sheer class. Judging by the wines in this range, the Sans Soufre style works far better with white varieties than with red. The Présence sizzles with tension and mineral-infused energy. I loved it. No dosage. Disgorged: January, 2021.

Peter Liem: Her first attempt at rosé was in 2011, due to the perfect health of her harvest in that vintage. Called Indulgence, it's made entirely from pinot noir, and its maceration was unusually long, lasting for four days. "I didn't want to make something fruity and easy," she says. "I wanted something reflective of the Aube, of our soils here. There's a tradition here in the Aube for long maceration, and I think it's appropriate for our pinot noir." Vinification takes place in tank, producing a deep, intensely fragrant rosé champagne, but quantities are necessarily small: fewer than 3,000 bottles in that first release. Its dark, brambly flavors of cherry and redcurrant are sappy and dense, underlined by intense notes of spicy, flinty minerality, and its structure is firm and almost tannic on the finish. It’s more like a light red wine than a traditional rosé champagne, but it’s delicious, and highly expressive of Aube terroir.
Antonio Galloni Vintage 2015 – 95P: The 2015 is fabulous. Dried rose petal, herbs, mint, sweet red cherry and a host of savory accents all run through the 2015. Beguiling and nuanced at every turn, the Indulgence certainly lives up to its name! It is another wine in this range I absolutely adore.

Antonio Galloni Vintage 2018 – 96P: The Amphora is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Arbanne done in amphora. The aromatics alone are mesmerizing, but what I like most about the 2018 its energy and cut. The 2018 straddles this line beautifully, framed by bright acids that lend vibrancy to lemon peel, mint, white flower and grassy notes that build in the glass. This is one of the most interesting and compelling Champagnes I have tasted in some time.

Antonio Galloni Vintage 2018 – 95P: The Amphora, 100% Pinot Noir done in amphora, is a big, powerful wine. Here the structure of Pinot very clearly dominates. There is a real feeling of phenolic intensity that drives the 2018 and its deep red fruit, spice, orchard fruit and floral notes. This is an especially bright expression of Pinot Noir. All the elements come together so effortlessly. The 2018 is simply captivating.
