The great wine cartographer Louis Larmat produced the only detailed maps of Champagne in the 1940s.Charles Curtis (MW) and Steve De Long are now engaged in a modern update and expansion of Larmat's pioneering work to add to the collection.
So that the wonderfully designed maps can also be admired in our country, Champagne Characters has imported these copies directly from the USA.
The card is mounted in a high-quality plastic frame with a passe-partout. Enclosed is an accompanying Avize Grand Cru brochure, which offers a tour of the village's terroir and its unique wines, a complete list of the lieux-dits grown (or partially grown) in the commune, and a directory of its winemakers.
