Cuvée 01 Grand Cru d'Avize is a lightly dosed champagne with a subtly chalky, floral nose.
On the palate, the champagne impresses with immense freshness and a range of aromas that includes both the character of the terroir and great elegance.
Moritz OCT22: The beautiful golden-yellow color immediately catches your eye and you immediately want to put your nose in the glass. A certain warmth flows through the body. The slightly oxidative nose is incredibly exciting. Nutty, notes of salted caramel, wet stones and subtle citrus zest flow towards you. The champagne appears fresher on the palate than on the nose, but the taste reflects the smell incredibly well. The taut, crisp acidity animate to drink and unfortunately the bottle is drunk far too quickly.
